Light

I have been looking at the architect Tadao Anda and I am interested in the way he is able to use and manipulate light so that only natural light enters and illuminates a building wherever he wants it to eg. only allowing small slits of light to enter at the ceiling or on the ground level of the structure.  He expressed architectural ideas of space/void, open/closed spaces and contrasting light with darkness.
