Model Assemblage

These are the pieces which were laser cut for my light.

The pieces cut from MDF will resemble the hard concrete which en-capsules the water.  To show the contrast of the water which is soft and in comparison to the concrete, I want to use cardboard so that it can easily be shaped. I have chosen to use red cardboard as it emphasizes the contrast and when waking up, I want to wake up in a warm environment therefore the red adds to the warmth.

I wanted to create movement and fluidity especially in the cardboard because i wanted the fluid movement to resemble the movement of the water that was in the site.
